Markets Quiet Ahead of ECB, Bernanke and Obama Speech

Quote of the day: “Never try to tell everything you know. It may take too short a time.” ~ Norman Ford

Good morning. EURUSD holds near medium term support layer around 1.400 but so far it fails to provide clues about a potential recovery, therefore looking for new selling opportunities is one thing to consider. Markets are currently quiet but it’s a busy schedule – some of today’s most important events are: ECB’s Rate Decision and Press Conference, US Trade Balance, Initial Jobless Claims, President Obama and Bernanke’s Speech in the evening.

EURUSD

Rallies are likely to remain short-lived, providing fresh opportunities for the bears.

EURGBP

It looks like it’s time to revisit .8900 where the pair reversed on three occasions.

EURCAD

Median support of last upward swing is still under pressure as yesterday’s rally was corrective – it’s worth to consider selling on the potential break lower, below 1.3850

With Bernanke speaking today, I guess we all know what’s the most important chart to keep an eye on…

AUDUSD

It still holds into the 1.0550 – 1.0600 support zone although yesterday’s rally wasn’t impressive. Anyway, I remain bullish on Aussie for now and I think that it is headed towards 1.0800 (recent top)

Hi Liviu, I love your charts, but today the site only shows eurusd, not the other ones below ( only grey boxes with titles ). BTW, using Google Chrome…….thxs and keep up the good work.

      Hi Michael

Hmm, that sounds weird and it's working here on different browsers.
Can you please check with IE? I suspect it has something to do with javascript
doing a hard refresh should help: CTRL-F5 on the page

let me know if it works, thanks!

Only the EUR/USD chart shows for me as well in Google Chrome. I noticed this a couple of days ago on a previous post. Everything shows up without a problem for me in Firefox.

thanks for letting me know. That's pretty weird because I'm using chrome as well and it's working.
Please let me know what Chrome version are you guys using: click on settings icon > About Google Chrome

        I'll investigate it.

ok, I think I found the problem.
Please confirm if it is working for you now

    Thanks!

    • Kevin says:

Yep, looks like it's working now! I see all of your charts in Chrome.

Just to answer your previous question, I'm using Google Chrome v. 13.0.782.220

By the way, nice call on the EUR/CAD chart. Price touched the 61.8 fib almost exactly and bounced. EUR/USD is currently trading <1.4, so I'm interested to see if we can get a strong close below it.

      Thanks again!
